1. Columbiaville Road Reconstruction
Reconstruction of Columbiaville Road from M-24 to Lonsberry Road is scheduled to start after 4th of July Holiday. Work consists of drainage improvements, crushing and reshaping Columbiaville Road and bituminous paving. 2. Millville Road Reconstruction
Reconstruction of Millville Road from Oregon Road to just north of Reamer Road is scheduled to start after the 4th of July Holiday. Work includes installing of a center turn lane. Work is anticipated to be completed by Labor Day weekend. 3. North Lake Road and Otter Lake Road Intersection
Intersection reconstruction work at North Lake Road and Otter Lake Road is scheduled to start after Labor Day weekend.

4. Five Lakes Road
Fives Lakes Road will be closed over I-69 on Monday and Tuesday, August 29th & 30th for bridge repairs.
Projects - Other Jurisdictions
The Michigan Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing M-24 from Pratt Road south to the Oakland County line on August 1, 2016. Traffic will be maintained with single lane closures and flag control. Most of the work will be completed overnight from 8 p.m. through 5 a.m.. The construction has an estimated completion date of October 2016. Questions and concerns may be directed to MDOT, 810-653-7470.
2. Bridge work along I-69
MDOT will complete repairs and improvements to 11 bridge structures in Lapeer County. Beginning Friday, April 15, crews will start work on the underside of Wilder Road, Five Lakes Road, Lake George Road and Lake Pleasant Road over I-69. This will require single-lane closures on eastbound and westbound I-69 from Lake Pleasant Road to Wilder Road.
Additional lane closures can be expected later this year while crews continue structures, including top side of the bridges.
The estimated completion is September 2016.
**(05/24/2016) Beginning June 6th crews will start work on the bridge decks of Lake George, Lake Pleasant and Morris Road. Both Lake George and Lake Pleasant Road will have temporary signals maintaining one lane of altering traffic. Morris Road will be closed and detoured using Newark, Clark, and Higley Roads.
**(07/11/2016) Update on I-69 bridge projects in Lapeer County. Traffic is switched on Lake George and Lake Pleasant on top, in the home stretch on these two bridges. Morris Road was opened on 07/08 although it will need to be closed for a week to finish up in a month. On July 20th Five Lakes Road over I-69 will be closed and detoured. The detour will last for about 3 weeks, Newark Road to Wilder Road to Peppermill Road.
**(07/14/2016) Beginning July 20, 2016 crews will close the Five Lakes Road overpass at I-69 for approximately three weeks to preform repairs. Motorists can expect the current lane closures on I-69 under Five Lakes Road to remain in place. As part of this work, the Five Lakes rest area will be closed for 10 days. The posted detour includes Newark Road, Wilder Road and Peppermill Road

3. KWA Water Pipeline
Construction began Wednesday April 22, 2015 on the KWA water pipeline.
60 inch line pipe installation was completed on 06/10/16 on Kings Mill Road and Clear Lake Road. The contractor will continue to install cross culverts on Lake Pleasant Road, Kings Mill Road and Clear Lake Road. This work may temporarily close the roads while the culverts are being installed. This work will carry on until the completion of culvert installations. The contractor will concentrate all efforts on restoring the roads and ditches and performing restoration until the intended work is complete.
Pipe installation was complete on 06/06/16 on Stanley Road. The contractor will continue to install cross culverts on Stanley Road and Klam Road for the next week. This work may temporarily close the roads while the culverts are being installed. The contractor is anticipated to begin road restoration work on Klam Road as soon as 06/17/16, this work is weather dependent. The contractor will continue road restoration operations and ditch restoration along Norway Lake Road West of M-24 during this time. The remaining road restoration work will begin approximately the second week of July. This work will continue until the intended road work is complete.
The intersection of Stanley Road and German Road will be set up to close Thursday morning June 16, 2016 for stage 4 of the project.
The closure may last into the month of July. Stanley Road will remain closed to through traffic between German Road and Marathon Road.
